It's different hunting when your pregnant because of hormones so the minute that I shot this guy I started crying... (embarrassing when you're hunting with a bunch of guys). My dad and Jason were kind enough to gut it so I didn't get sick and in no time we were back home.
Hunter loves when we go hunting and he especially loves all of the deer meat that he chows on for days afterward.
My niece Lexus was a dinosaur for Halloween and here she is hugging hunter. This picture makes me laugh because she used to be so scared of him.

Hunter loves other dogs.... He especially loves torturing my mom and dad's little dog.. Baxter gets so scared every time he sees Hunter because he knows the torture is coming.

Yesterday I was able to go with my mom down to Park City for my dad's hip surgery. I didn't think that his procedure would bother me since I've been involved with surgery as a nurse for almost three years but it is different when it's your family. It was hard to see my dad in a lot of pain and I just wanted him to have the best care. It was a long and big procedure and very painful. They gave my dad so many narcotics that he couldn't stay awake. He would keep falling asleep in the funniest positions and this time he is holding the phone by his ear. My mom and I couldn't help laughing at him. Before we left physical therapy came in and we were able to get him out of bed to walk. He is doing really well but I'm sure it's going to be a long and hard recovery.
If you can believe it this pic was taken after surgery and my dad doesn't even smile this good for our family pics... I guess this explains why people love narcotics.
I am so grateful that I was able to be there.
Okay.... on a lighter note I'm sure most people think that they have weird neighbors but ever since we've moved into our house I've really thought our neighbors top them all.. So this morning I wake up and look out my kitchen window and this is what I see.
Yep that's right our neighbor has a full doe deer head and neck mounted on the front of his truck! Welcome to Wyoming! haha... and I thought we were bad when we went to the temple with our truck covered in blood after Jason shot his elk... I love people that do things like this to make me feel more normal.
