Happy Birthday My Love

Today the love of my life turns 26 years old!.... WOW we're getting up there. I can't believe how much I love this man and how lucky I feel every day to have had the chance to meet and marry him for eternity.

He started off the weekend by shooting this deer. We had been hunting since Thursday and Jason was the only one lucky enough to see a deer big enough to shoot.

You would never think that a sage brush background would look so good.

Last night our families joined us for a birthday dinner and Jason was lucky enough to get his favorite...CHEESECAKE for desert. YUMMY!!

Jason has wanted a roadbike since we before I ever met him over 4 years ago. I decided that it was finally time to pay the price and get him one before we feel so poor and I'm not working as much when we have our baby so this is the final result. The only thing this picture needs is for him to be sporting some nice biker SPANDEX....
After the long night with our families and Jason playing with his new toys this was what I found. My two favorite boys.... we are still really enjoying Hunter he is such a good dog but it's sad that he's getting so big.

We're having a........

BABY....... For those of you who haven't heard, Jason and I decided that we wouldn't find out what we are having long before we got pregnant. So at our big ultrasound yesterday even though it was tempting we stayed strong and didn't find out.... Sorry... and for those of you that are thinking we're crazy for not finding out you have to know how much we love surprises and this will be the best surprise ever when our little miracle is born.
Our appointment was so amazing... Our ultrasound tech spent about an hour just looking at our baby and explaining everything to us... she also recorded the whole session on DVD so we can show it to our families. Our little bean is measuring exactly on my due date so that is good news. Here are some of my favorite pics.
This is our baby just checking our it's hand. I thought it would suck it's thumb but it never did. It's little heart was my favorite thing just to watch it beating...You can see it in the pic down in the chest.HOW AMAZING.

It kept it's hand in front of the face almost the entire time.

I loved this picture of the flexed arm. Hopefully not practicing the hitchhiker pose for any future adventures.

Our little bean knows it is #1... I love the little index finger giving us it's # 1 sign.

YAY.... it also has feet.... Cute little 1 inch feet.. They are perfect.

Some of my favorite pictures were the 3D ones that we got. Our baby just looks so real in 3D. Once again the hand is on the forehead. You can see the other fingers across the chest...

I love this pose. It makes our baby look like it's resting in a cloud with it's little hand under it's face...
After our ultrasound all I could think about is my Heavenly Father and this miracle that he has chosen to bless us with.
I still haven't felt our little bean move so I'm looking forward to that day. Words can't even describe our excitement.

Conference

Yesterday we were able to attend the morning session of General Conference with Kent and Cilia Williams in our ward. I was so excited when Cilia invited us to go and looked forward to it all week. I am alwasys amazed at the feeling I get when I am at Temple Square and the blessings that come through the spirit. I'm greatful to be a member of the church and that I am able to hear the apostles and prophet speak to me personally. I was thinking that we probably won't have another opportunity to go to conference again for a while now that we are starting our little family so I'm so greatful that we were able to attend. I don't have any pics because we have somehow lost our camera while we were hunting. I'll keep looking for it. Our big ultrasound is this Wednesday and we're excited to see our little miracle growing. I'll try to post some pics.
